Paper Machines 3 and 4 are excellent examples
of the optimization of aged equipment to meet current and future
market requirements. We pride ourselves in working with our
customers to meet their expectations and provide them specific
products as well as any support they may require. Currently we
specialize in three grades of specialty paper Sequel, Synpress
and Sequence. Each reel produced on the paper machines is processed on one of our five Supercalenders. The supercalendering process enhances the surface properties of the sheet and provides a desired gloss and finish in accordance with customer requirements. In response to the increasing demands of the market place, the mill has installed the most recent available calendering technologies to ensure production of the highest quality product. Calendered paper is then processed on one of our three winders. Large reels are cut into rolls to the exact width and diameter in accordance with customer specifications. No.7, our newest winder, is equipped with the most modern technology in order to produce the best quality rolls and diameter. Paper rolls from the winder receive a final inspection and are then wrapped on the industry's newest automated wrap-line system. Rolls are ready for shipping once they are weighed and appropriately labeled. Tightly wrapped rolls are carefully stacked in storage before being loaded for timely delivery to our customers' desired destination. |
