Envirothon

St. Marys Paper supports Envirothon, an interactive Environmental education program for high school students.
Envirothon is designed to improve the students knowledge of the forest,environment and resource management. This interactive educational program is delivered through field trips, resource materials and competitions.

Teams of five students train and compete in the areas of soils, aquatics, wildlife, forestry and current environmental issues relating to particular ecosystems.

 Teams learn through hands-on outdoor activities with teachers, natural resource personnel and community members. Envirothon promotes teamwork, critical thinking and problem solving skills and decision making skills.
